The author (copyright owner), hereinafter referred to as “the Author”, agrees to publish the article above, hereinafter referred to as “the Article”, in Carsologica Sinica, and voluntarily transfers, in all countries and regions, part of the copyright of the Article to the editorial department of Carsologica Sinica, hereinafter referred to as “the Department”, if the Article is accepted and published by the Department.

 

1. The Author represents and warrants that the given Article is fully original to the Author, without multiple contributions of the same Article, and that it does not involve any content violating Chinese laws or social ethics, nor does it involve confidentiality and infringement of intellectual property. If these issues occur, the Author shall take on all the liability.

 

2. All Authors agree that once the Articles submitted for publication in Carsologica Sinica are accepted, the Authors shall transfer all the rights to copy and disseminate the whole Article or any part of it (such as the details of research questions, ideas, methods, processes, data, and results) that can be extracted from the Article—including but not limited to the transfer of other copyright to the Department, such as the right to reproduce, to distribute, to disseminate online, to display, to translate, to compile, etc.

 

3. Co-authors represent and warrant the unanimity on the Authors’ signature and ranking. In case of dissent, the liability shall be taken on by the Authors of the Article.

 

4. The Author is not entitled to the rights transferred in Article 2 of this Agreement, or he/she shall not permit others’ access to these rights in any form. However, the Author may quote or translate parts of the given Article in his/her further study, or publish them in non-periodical publications such as the Author’s collective works.

 

5. Where the Article is published in whatever form for the first time by the Department, Party B will charge Party A a one-time page fee according to the following standards. Where the Department republishes the Article in other forms, the Author’s page fee shall not be charged again.

6. Transfer fee: Where the Article is accepted for publication, the Department shall pay the Author one-time remuneration and transfer fee.

7. Both Parties shall reach a compromise solution to the dissent arising from abidance by this Agreement. Any Party who fails to reach an agreement may bring a lawsuit to the local court that has jurisdiction over the Department.

 

This Agreement shall come into force on the date when the Department agrees to publish the given Article.

 

In the following table, all Authors shall sign their names in accordance with the authorship order in the given Article, mark the corresponding author with “*”, and indicate the Author who will receive remuneration.
