Abstract

The Guizhou Plateau is situated in the subtropical zone of southwest China.The Plateau has been uplifted strongly since the Quaternary period. Carbonate rocks are widely distributed and karst is well developed,forming typical features over the plateau. The conditions for karst water occurences are very complicated , controlled mainly by the evolution of local geomorphological , geological and climatical environments.
