A PRELIMINARY STUDY ON THE SUBTERRANEAN STREAM SYSTEMS OF LUOTA AREA, HUNAN PROVINCE

摘要: <正> 湖南洛塔地区系主要由二叠系、下三叠统碳酸盐岩组成的岩溶向斜汇水盆地,地质构造上属北北东向新华夏系的洛塔向斜。由于经历了多次构造运动,向斜内断裂纵横交错,十分发育。东翼以北(北)东向压性、压扭性断裂为主;西翼以北西向张性断裂为主(图1);轴部北东向压性裂隙及北西向张性裂隙更为发育,在碳酸盐岩中,裂隙密度平均达7—10条/米,这给岩溶管道和地下河系的形成提供了有效空间。挽近Abstract: The Luota Area in Northwestern part of Hunan Province is a synclinal confluence basin of bare karst. It has a special hydrogeological structure composed by several karstified aquifers which are connected, but in some cases separated each other by non-soluble beds ( Multi-aquifer). There are many subterranean streams totalling 51 in number of main streams and branches, and 82 km in length. It is typical to some extent for similar karst region.
